Our loosely knitted baby alpaca and wool mix fabric is wonderfully soft and light, perfect for cosy jumpers and cardigans.
The alpaca fibres are responsibly grown in Peru and our wool fibres come from Argentina and Uruguay and are mulesing-free. The yarn is ?top dyed?- the wool and alpaca are combed leaving only the longest fibres and then coloured before spinning which adds softness and an extra depth of colour. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which ensures good detailing and creates less wastage. Panels and trims are then attached together, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.
The garments are expertly crafted by one of our longest standing suppliers, a small knitter based in Hong Kong. We have enjoyed working with Robert and Carmen, for over 20 years. Their knowledge, experience and attention to detail is second to none.
